Pop-up book style stop animation created for Everyman Cinema’s summer pop-up events at Kings Cross canal and The Grove Hotel Watford

This 40 second trailer was created for both social media in cinema use. The trailer will be screened in Everyman Cinemas nationwide from June 2026 through till the end of August.

For this animation, we quite literally turned the pop-up Summer events into pop up book. Learning from traditional pop-up book making techniques, I took Everyman’s graphic design identity for the two events, and incorporated this into a dynamic pop-up design, that could transform from the Kings Cross into The Grove Hotel by the flip of a page.
